NEW DIRECTOR GENERAL INTRODUCED
Mr. Kwasi A. Boatin, the out-going Director-General has entreated staff to give the necessary support to the in-coming Director-General, Dr Frank Odoom.
I hope you would support the new Director-General just like you did during my tenure. The Trust faces challenges that can only be overcome by a united front, if we want to transform this institution into a first class institution.
Change is part of the implementation of the new pension law. Last year was a difficult year in respect of the quantum of work. We must keep the momentum so that the new scheme will run smoothly.
Mr. Boatin conceded that there was outstanding work to be done and hoped that there will be no disruptions after his exit.
On his part, Dr Frank Odoom replied that he was assuming office when pension administration is undergoing changes. Change is difficult but it will be easy when we understand the issues. I am coming with the Private Sector attitude which is making use of minimal resources for maximum profit.
According to Dr Odoom, efficiency is the new name of the game. Failure has been out of my vocabulary for a long time. I know that the Operations wing is ready and we will achieve results, he ended with a smile.
In attendance were members of the Management Committee including all the seven (7) General Managers.
