STATISTICS ON OPERATIONS

The Operations Division collected a total amount of GH¢25,866,095.46 for May 2010 representing a performance rate of 37.2%.

INDEBTEDNESS

The total indebtedness stood at GH¢280,002,966.67 as at May  2010.  The breakdown is as follows:                  

i.Actual Contributions-   GH¢203,305,226.91

ii.Penalty                     -   GH¢   76,119,735.93

iii.Judgment Debt        -   GH           578,003.83

ESTABLISHMENT / WORKER POPULATION                                                                                                     

The total number of registered active establishments nationwide -    33,412

The total number of registered active contributors nationwide     -  891,678

The number of workers on whose behalf contributions were made -  276,522

This means that, out of a total of 33,412 establishments 15,662 made payments for the month of May  giving it an overall compliance rate of 46.9 %

Similarly, out of a total of 891,678 workers, payment was made on behalf of 276,522representing a compliance rate of 31.0 %
