HANDING OVER OF KEYS TO DUNKONAH APARTMENTS

The Minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing, Hon. Mr. Alban S.K. Bagbin has inaugurated 42 three-bedroom apartments at the Dunkonah Housing Project.

The apartments constructed by SSNIT is to house public servants who have been relocated from the Switchback Road in Accra to enable the redevelopments of land at that site.

The Director General, Dr Frank Odoom in his address expressed his delight at the collaborative effort of the Ministry of Water Resources, Works and  Housing in bringing the project to fruition.

“The Contract”, he indicated was awarded in September 2005 and the total cost on completion was GH¢1,910,000.00.

The Honourable Alban S.K. Bagbin expressed his satisfaction on the completion of the project and that the beneficiaries of these houses will be to commit themselves to working harder for mother Ghana.  He used the opportunity to remind the beneficiaries of the apartments that it behoves on them to keep the housing units and the environment tenantable and clean.

The Chief Director of the Ministry of Water Resources, Works and Housing, Mr. Awudu yahaya collected the keys on behalf of the beneficiaries.
